Shall we CAL?

celia

I love Wednesdays.

Wednesdays seem like silly days, just in the middle of the week, but I really love them. Everyone who knows me understands what I'm saying because on Wednesdays I go to my knit/crochet meetings with the no-madeja-das group. I got plenty of energy these afternoons. We all talk a lot, laugh a lot and crochet, well we don't crochet or knit too much :-).

Last Wednesday, while in the knit/crochet meeting, I planned a new CAL, as I did before. The first CAL Abejitas was the one with the Gilb socks pattern. My crochet friends were very confident on me, even though they knew me for a very short time, and many of them joined to the CAL (Sagra, you were very supportive, thanks).

The second CAL Abejitas was the Mystery CAL Melitas. Amelia gave the name to this pattern and, over all, put the soul to the special touch of the mitts and helped me a lot with the CAL.

And now I'm preparing the third CAL Abejitas. I'd been thinking about it for a while but I didn't know what to do yet. Last Wednesday I decided everything. I'm crocheting a simple sleeveless sweater and Marta and Carmela liked it very much and wanted to crochet one for themselves.

This is a very nice, simple and versatile sweater. It can be for winter (over a shirt) or summer, depending on the yarn you choose (wool or cotton/viscose).

I didn't released the pattern yet, but if you're one of the impatient ones you can look for the right yarn you want to use for it.

I choose the Demet Wool from Yarn Paradise for the winter version.

I don't know which one I'll use for the summer version, but it'll be a sport yarn too.

I'll give more details. Stay tuned!
